Travel to Xirokambi by car
Take the national road from Athens or towards Corinth, and then continue along the motorway to Tripoli. You will come across several toll posts; you can pay with cash, bank or credit cards. From Tripoli you can take the old road through the mountains (Sparta no tolls). Or continue on the highway (toll) all the way to Sparta. The first route is 60 km shorter, but more difficult to drive in rain or in the dark. Both routes are scenic.
In Sparta, follow the road signs towards Gythio for another 12 kilometres. Take a right turn towards the signposted road to Xirokambi (ΞΗΡΟΚΑΜΠΙ).
If you arrive via Kalamata Airport, take the highway to Sparta and from there continue as described above.
